Well at the moment, Alfie is being a little\nungrateful. He\u2019s not sure he likes his new bed. To be fair he said it took him\na long time to get used to his last new one and he\u2019s never felt the same about\nany since the one he had as a puppy. The problem seems to be that getting in is\nquite a big step and it\u2019s onto a deep cushion. His back end is not as stable as\nit used to be and it\u2019s a bit of a challenge. He\u2019s thinking of trying launching\nhimself in instead of stepping, which might work better even if it is a little\nundignified. I know the minute I offer to have the bed instead of him he\u2019ll\nsuddenly find it really is ok, so I\u2019m not raising my hopes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We usually walk on the airfield, which we all\nlike for different reasons. However, when our Mistress took Wilma and Shadow\nthe other day they were a bit in the way of work that was being done and our\nMistress doesn\u2019t like being in the way. She\u2019s decided to take us to a different\nwalk for a few days. You know what it\u2019s like when you go somewhere you haven\u2019t\nbeen for a while. The walk takes so much longer as you have to sniff out\neverything that\u2019s been happening since you were last around. We all had a great\ndeal of catching up to do. I can tell you, the news headlines were all fairly mundane\nand didn\u2019t really tell us anything all that interesting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We\u2019re all going into Lazy Sunday mode for the\nday. I suggested we could all watch a good weepy film, but the girls said they\u2019d\nrather go out. Honestly, sometimes I think they have no feelings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
