Puppies<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Yesterday was all about puppies. It didn\u2019t\nstart that way. To begin with, it was all about snow. Rather unfortunately, the\nsnow plough had been past our house and left a whole pile of snow blocking Mum\u2019s\ncar in. She had to dig the car out before we could actually go anywhere. She\nsays she doesn\u2019t really know where she will park on our next trip because there\nis no way Dad is going to be able to keep that particularly patch clear enough\nfor her to park there. Ah well, it\u2019s not really us that needs to worry. Dad has\nto get his car in and out every day while we\u2019re away and that will be difficult\nenough. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When we got to my sister Tosca\u2019s house,\nfortunately there was a lot less now there. She is very well and has five\nlovely puppies. There is one very small one which really reminded Mum of\nAristotle and she was laughing about how when you have to look after a tiny one\nand give them extra attention it is very hard to give them away. I was starting\nto think she was going to be adding another to our little family, but she has\npromised me that is not the case. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dexter<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Then there is Dexter. Oh my. It made me realise\nhow much I\u2019ve now grown up. Boy is he full of energy. I was none too impressed\nabout how he was jumping all over me. It made me glad I\u2019d only got to put up\nwith him for another day. Now, don\u2019t get me wrong. He is absolutely lovely and\nreally very good looking, but the energy! Was I really like that three years\nago? Mum says I didn\u2019t get the nickname \u2018Wild Wilma\u2019 for nothing, but I just\nfind it hard to believe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saying Goodbye<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

It was hard to say goodbye to Dad yesterday.\nHe had to drive back to our house and then couldn\u2019t even get his car onto the\ndrive because of all the snow. He had to get out and shovel snow out of the way\nbefore he could do the last few meters. We felt sad that we couldn\u2019t be there\nto help. It won\u2019t be long until we see him though and we are looking forward to\nseeing Alfie, Shadow and Aristotle when we get home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
