Happy New Year<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
A very happy New Year to you all from\nSwitzerland. As Alfie is putting his paws up, it falls to me to wish you all a\nvery happy New Year. As the baby of the family, I\u2019m not sure I\u2019ve got all that\nmuch wisdom to impart yet. That\u2019s something that Alfie is far better at than I\nam. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I never thought at the start of last year\nthat I would be starting this one so close to where I was born. I really am a\nvery lucky dog. I think, rather than making resolutions I\u2019m going to count my\nblessings. I am happy and healthy and couldn\u2019t be more loved. I get to spend\nlots of time walking in my favourite places and have wonderful companions in\nAlfie, Shadow and Ari. Unlike most dogs, I see Mama regularly and Papa\noccasionally. There\u2019s nothing I really want for and I\u2019m going to make the most\nof what I\u2019ve got. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I\u2019m also lucky that I have so many friends.\nThank you all for being part of my life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The changing mountain<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
Every day when we go for a walk, the mountain\nis just a little bit different. It\u2019s always beautiful, but never quite the same\nas the day before. There is still not very much snow, but there is a little. We\nsaw a snowmobile go past and now Mum thinks it would be fun for us to go on one\nof those instead of walking. I rather little walking, so I\u2019m not so sure. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The front fell off<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
The oven didn\u2019t have such a good end to last\nyear. There was Mum trying to take tea out on Sunday when the door fell off in\nher hands. Unfortunately, the tea itself didn\u2019t fall on the floor, which I thought\nwas a shame. I did get shouted out to get out of the kitchen, but as Dad\nexplained later it was for my own safety and he didn\u2019t mean me to think I\u2019d\ndone anything wrong. Mum and Dad were very happy that a lovely man was able to\ncome and fix it yesterday so they can use it again. And I\u2019ve forgiven Dad for\nshouting too. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
