Oh the amount of luggage we had to get in the\ncar. Normally when it\u2019s just Mum and me travelling we don\u2019t seem to have that\nmuch stuff, even between us. Anyway, with more of us, you just wouldn\u2019t believe\nthe size of the problem. There are things packed in every available space. I\nthought at one point I was going to have some stuff in my crate with me. I\noffered to have my food box, but Mum wasn\u2019t fooled by my innocent expression.\nWhat did work well was having my travel bed as well as the usually bedding in\nthe crate. I was able to make myself a nice little nest and disregard the surrounding\nchaos. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mum has promised to buy me a travel pillow.\nThe problem is that she just takes a basic piece of vet bed for me to have in\nhotels. Neither one of us wants to be carrying much in at the end of a long\ndrive. Anyway, I really like a pillow and end up trying to arrange it into a\nnest and it never quite works. She gave me a cushion from the chair in the hotel\nthe other night, but there wasn\u2019t one I could have last night. She did\nimprovise by letting me use a pile of her clothes but I can see why she doesn\u2019t\nthink that\u2019s ideal. Anyway, she\u2019s promised to look out for a little cushion for\nme to use in future. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
When we got to our hotel in France the cloud\nand setting sun looked like a blood red layer cake. It was quite amazing but\nsadly Mum had left her phone on charge and it\u2019s anybody\u2019s guess where in the\ncar the camera is. We have a roofbox on the car and it was so difficult to close\nthat Mum has said we can\u2019t even try until we get home later. I think the camera\nis in there but she won\u2019t let me look.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
