It\u2019s not about the money<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Giving is not about the money. Presents are\nnot about impressing someone with how much you can spend. It is more important\nto impress them with how much you care. The little touches, where you have\nnoticed what the person needs, which may be as simple as a helping paw, will\nmean more than all that money can buy. A kind word can be more value than gold\nand generosity of time and spirit worth more than anything money can buy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The elderly need love too<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
It\u2019s very easy to love a young animal or\nhuman, but none of us stops needing to be loved as we get older. Just because\nwe have gone grey and become whiskery doesn\u2019t mean we don\u2019t need to same\nfeeling of warmth and affection of being loved. Of course a hug now and again is\nlovely, but even a simple word to say you care can make a very big difference. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We all carry a load<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
You never know the load that another animal\nor human is carrying. If they are slow don\u2019t hurry them. If they are snappy, don\u2019t\nrespond in kind but be kind instead. If they are isolated, try to include them,\neven if that is inconvenient to you. If they are struggling, help them without\nbeing asked. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Every one of us can make a difference to\nthose around us. This Christmas, let\u2019s set out to make the world a better place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
