Whilst we\u2019ve been here, we\u2019ve checked every day so we could show some\nsnow to Mum\u2019s friend and every day nothing. Then I go out yesterday morning\nbefore we set off for home and there is a tiny bit of slushy stuff. Mum checked\nthe web cam as soon as we had our first stop only to find my favourite place in\nthe whole world is now covered in white. There is no webcam where we live so we\ncould only guess what was happening there until we could get an update from\ndad. Ah well, at least there will be snow when I go back again soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Gilets Jaunes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Mum spent ages trying to work out what our best route home would be. She didn\u2019t want to find we were amidst the currentFrench protests. All went well until we were only a couple of miles from our hotel. Then we found they had blockaded one of the main roundabouts and had created bonfires on each corner. They were still building the bonfires but there was no sign of any police or anyone trying to stop them. They were letting a little traffic through from one direction at a time. Mum was worried in case she was made to wait near the bonfire smoke as it would have started her asthma, but we got through after a delay. Now we\u2019re wondering if we\u2019re going to have any more problems today, but hoping we won\u2019t.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-1 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\"><ul class=\"blocks-gallery-grid\"><li class=\"blocks-gallery-item\"><figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/alfiedog.me.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/IMG_6893-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"15427\" data-link=\"http:\/\/alfiedog.me.uk\/?attachment_id=15427\" class=\"wp-image-15427\"\/><\/figure><\/li><\/ul><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Christmas shopping<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>When we get home I want Mum to help me with\nsome Christmas shopping. I\u2019ve been sleeping in the bed she bought for me and\nShadow to have in Switzerland and it is SOOO comfortable. Anyway, I thought maybe\nMum could help me to buy one for Alfie for Christmas. I think he\u2019d really like\nit.
