At least we went to its car park. The restaurant was closed for refurbishment. Mum and Dad have had some lovely times there and have not had anything to complain about at all. I did have a look on Tripadvisor and lots of people said it wasn\u2019t so good. We\u2019ve always liked it though. They do nice ice creams, provide water for me and have a lovely view over the lake. Yesterday we just had a walk down to the bells instead. They play for ten minutes every hour on the hour during the day and if you go down to them you can choose what they play. I think that\u2019s the reward for the steep walk back up! It was the humans who got to press the buttons so I didn\u2019t get to choose, but they still sounded good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ice Cream<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Because we couldn\u2019t get ice cream overlooking the lake, we went to a place called Brunnen. It\u2019s at the end of the lake and has some pretty bits to it. It\u2019s got a Swiss army knife shop too so I went in with Dad to see which ones we liked best. To be honest, he was more excited than I was. I didn\u2019t actually get any ice cream. It was something to do with getting all excited and barking at another dog, so I was taken back to the car. Sometimes I should really remember to keep my mouth shut. It\u2019s just that every so often I see a dog who takes no notice of me and I just have to call to them in case they want to play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Christmas<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" src=\"http:\/\/alfiedog.me.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/IMG_6703-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15286\" srcset=\"https:\/\/alfiesdiary.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/IMG_6703-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/alfiesdiary.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/IMG_6703-326x245.jpg 326w, https:\/\/alfiesdiary.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/IMG_6703-80x60.jpg 80w, https:\/\/alfiesdiary.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/IMG_6703.jpg 450w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019ve been trying to model for a Christmas card. I\u2019m not sure I\u2019ve got it right yet and I might need some more practice. This was taken a couple of days ago, it wasn\u2019t sunny yesterday, Real snow would have been helpful but I guess a dog can\u2019t have everything. I\u2019m hoping today might be a bit more sunny.
