Well yesterday was less eventful in lots of ways. Mum woke really early so made us get up and set off before we were really ready. She didn\u2019t even let us have our breakfast early, how mean is that? To be fair she said it was because she wanted to make the most of the cool part of the day. However, as it turned out that could have been any time as it didn\u2019t get nearly so hot as it had been. We did get breakfast at our first stop, but we\u2019d already done 140 miles by then. It took us two more stops after that but we got to Dad about 2pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Shadow was so pleased to see Dad. The minute we arrived she was quivering with excitement from nose to tail. He was just as pleased but he didn\u2019t quiver. They were inseparable for the rest of the day. I did get a cuddle but it was hard to get a look in with the way they were together. I think Shadow is making up for all the being ill. When we went for a walk she had to sniff absolutely everything and was so happy. I was in trouble for trying to get all the fox poo, but it won\u2019t stop me trying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We love arrival day in Switzerland as it\u2019s always steak for tea. We\u2019re allowed to take up to 1kg of meat into the country, so every time before we travel Mum goes to our lovely local butcher and buys 1kg of steak. It\u2019s a special treat when we arrive and we always get a little. There will be a little more today if we\u2019re really lucky. Now we\u2019re excited about going for a good walk today. We need to go and investigate the places we were planning to go to last time if Shadow had not been ill. Today we\u2019re going to walk by the lake. I know Mum is longing to go up the hill, but it\u2019s really busy at a weekend so I think we\u2019re waiting until tomorrow morning for that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
