What wedding?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\u2018Are you watching the wedding, Alfie?\u2019 \u2018What wedding?\u2019 was my reply. It seems most people around me plan to spend all day Saturday watching television coverage of a royal wedding. Now don\u2019t get me wrong, I\u2019m sure that\u2019s a nice way to spend a Saturday if you don\u2019t have other things to do. Oh I\u2019d have gone if I\u2019d been invited, but I\u2019m not aware that any dogs have actually been sent invitations. Going would have been different as it would have meant being outside. As a dog, I do quite like being outside and I think that all of you at home with dogs should bear in mind that your dogs probably like being outside too and remember to build that into your TV viewing schedule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As I typed that Ari pointed out that he quite likes cuddling on the settee, so maybe not all dogs are as negative to a whole day\u2019s TV as I am! You can\u2019t please everyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What to wear<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Of course if I had been invited, I\u2019d have been left with the dilemma of what to wear. The only animal who can really pull off attending society events without looking out of place is  the penguin. They were built for it. I guess I might look ok with a bow tie on my collar. It\u2019s not something I\u2019ve ever really tried.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a>Snuffle Mat<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As promised here is a picture of Shadow actually having a whole meal from the snuffle mat. The funny thing is then watching her going back to check every so often to see if she missed a piece anywhere. I know it\u2019s not more ridiculous than me going to check my bowl at intervals to see if any more food has appeared by magic, but it is quite entertaining to watch. She glowered at me when I laughed so I need to be more discrete about it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shadow could probably pull off going to a society do. She\u2019s really good at walking round looking self important and wouldn\u2019t worry so much if she fitted in or not. She\u2019s more Corgi shaped too, so might be more acceptable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
