Well here I am, I\u2019m back. You must have missed me after all that time. How\u2019ve you been? I\u2019m really well and enjoyed myself while our Mistress was away. When it comes to staying without her, I\u2019m the most \u2018balanced\u2019 of the family \u2013 her words not mine. She thinks because I was born here I feel completely secure and don\u2019t worry that she won\u2019t be back. There may be some truth in that, but I\u2019m kind of laid back about most things. It doesn\u2019t mean I wasn\u2019t pleased to see our Mistress. I worship the ground she walks on \u2013 she says that\u2019s unhealthy, but I\u2019m happy that way. We\u2019ve had some lovely cuddles since she\u2019s been back and now we\u2019ve got our Alexa set up between here and Switzerland I\u2019ve even been able to have a chat with our Master too. It\u2019s kind of weird seeing him on a little screen, but I do like hearing his voice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Alfie\u2019s vet visit went well yesterday. He really does seem to have lost his voice from barking too much and it isn\u2019t fully back yet. Yesterday was his first quiet day since our Mistress has been home so hopefully it will now have chance to recover.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Wilma\u2019s walk yesterday was less successful and she got a big thorn in her paw and had to go home so our Mistress could sort it out. Everything seems to be fine so no lasting damage as far as we can tell, but it was a very big thorn. Our Mistress thought she\u2019d stung it to begin with, but thankfully not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Other than that, I\u2019m really enjoying the sunshine. I do so love to potter round the garden just sniffing the breeze and feeling the warmth of the sun on my fur. I don\u2019t feel the need to dig or chase anything, I just amble happily and then find a quiet spot to snooze. It is really not a bad life. You should try it sometime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
