Wilma and I have been busy coming up with our own Dog Christmas Carols. This is my attempt:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bark the herald puppies sing,
\nwoof at almost everything.
\nPee on grass then play a while,
\neating plants is more our style.
\nJoyful all ye puppies munching,
\non the roses we\u2019ve been lunching.
\nIf the weather\u2019s not too cold
\nnap amongst the marigolds.

Wilma took a different approach:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the first day of Christmas my puppy gave to me
\na large bruise on my left knee.
\nOn the second day of Christmas my puppy gave to me
\ntwo half-chewed gloves and a large bruise on my left knee.
\nOn the third day of Christmas my puppy gave to me
\nthree dead hens, two half-chewed gloves and a large bruise on my left knee.
\nOn the fourth day of Christmas my puppy gave to me
\nfour different socks, three dead hens, two half-chewed gloves and a large bruise on my left knee.
\nOn the fifth day of Christmas my puppy gave to me
\nfive left shoes, four different socks, three dead things, two half-chewed gloves\u2026
\nOn the sixth day of Christmas my puppy gave to me
\nsix mice decaying, five left shoes, four different socks, three dead things\u2026
\nOn the seventh day of Christmas my puppy gave to me
\nseven puddles paddling, six mice decaying, five left shoes, four different socks\u2026
\nOn the eighth day of Christmas my puppy gave to me
\neight bins all emptied, seven puddles paddling, six mice decaying, five left shoes\u2026
\nOn the ninth day of Christmas my puppy gave to me
\nnine stolen biscuits, eight bins all emptied, seven puddles paddling, six mice decaying\u2026
\nOn the tenth day of Christmas my puppy gave to me
\nten games of fetching, nine stolen biscuits, eight bins all emptied, seven puddles paddling\u2026
\nOn the eleventh day of Christmas my puppy gave to me
\neleven holes a digging, ten games of fetching, nine stolen biscuits, eight bins all emptied\u2026
\nOn the twelfth day of Christmas my puppy gave to me
\ntwelve puppy kisses,
\neleven holes a digging
\nten games of fetching
\nnine stolen biscuits
\neight bins all emptied
\nseven puddles paddling
\nsix mice decaying
\nfive left shoes
\nfour different socks
\nthree dead hens
\ntwo half-chewed gloves
\nand the waggiest tail you ever did see.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
