I know we all have good days and bad days, but it\u2019s more than that at the moment. My eyes aren\u2019t weepy as they have been, and I feel loads better in myself. I don\u2019t know what\u2019s different. My food is the same and my medication hasn\u2019t changed. Our Mistress wonders if my time in kennels actually did me good, but since I\u2019ve been home I\u2019ve been much more my old self. Yesterday I even went as far as being happy in the company of the one person that a months weeks ago I\u2019d actually threatened to bite. I\u2019d go further than saying I was ok with her, I now regard her as one of my new best friends and am really looking forward to seeing her again. Our Mistress says that we shouldn\u2019t try to overanalyse things, but should make the most of every day and hope things continue like this. Considering I\u2019ll be 11 \u00be in just a couple of days time I\u2019m really doing quite well for my age. Our Mistress is going on a writing conference next week and says it is a relief not to feel she needs to worry about me quite so much while she\u2019s away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Aristotle is going swimming again today. He needs it more than I do at the moment. It\u2019s a shame because feeling as I do I think I could really enjoy going. There\u2019s still a trick or two I could teach these young dogs. Wilma said maybe it was cutting down on my working hours that had made the difference, but I don\u2019t think that\u2019s really the case. Our Mistress said that if it was that then perhaps she should think about doing the same, but I just looked at her. She\u2019s a workaholic, she\u2019ll never cut down!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
