Happy weekend everyone, it\u2019s Aristotle here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am so happy to be back at home with our Mistress. Now don\u2019t get me wrong I love the people at the kennels and I\u2019m very happy there, but I miss my cuddles with our Mistress and our walks together. At the kennels it\u2019s the little things I miss, like kitchen work surfaces I can check out for food left around or pans that need licking out. I miss being able to twist our Mistress round my little paw when I fancy an extra treat and my Master giving me a back scratch. I do like meeting the other dogs and playing in the paddock, but I miss walks with our Mistress when we talk about anything and everything or listen to a book together. Home is where you know which is your dog bowl and where to find it at meal times. Home is the place where you can arrange your toys exactly as you want them. Home is the place where you are allowed on the bed and settee and can follow your human everywhere, including to the bathroom. I miss working in the garden with our Mistress too. I love our outdoor time, just pottering about having a bit of a sniff and relaxing in the open air. It\u2019s good for me as I don\u2019t have to put lots of pressure on my bad legs but can still get fresh air. I\u2019d love to go for longer walks, but I just can\u2019t, so the back garden is the next best thing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wilma has been delighted to hear that her dog and human family in Switzerland are all going to be fine. Now she\u2019s asking our Mistress how soon she can go back to see them all again. Our Mistress quite likes that idea too, but I don\u2019t think it will be very soon so Wilma will have to be patient.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m off to sniff out the plants to see if anything needs pruning. I just can\u2019t wait for the marigolds to flower!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
