I know you humans will never understand how we think. Sometimes we do things instinctively that can seem pretty gross until you understand what\u2019s behind them. Before you ask, no I haven\u2019t done anything gross for quite some while, at least not that I can think of. It\u2019s Ari. Ari, odd as it may seem, is the alpha dog of the house. I know we all think of him as being just a puppy and the runt of the litter at that, but he doesn\u2019t see his role in quite the same light. One of his jobs is to keep his pack safe and to do that he needs to make sure the pack seems strong at all times. He has no idea how to deal with my weakness, but then neither have I so that seems fair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the moment he is intent on cleaning up after our Mistress. She\u2019s now been ill for a couple of weeks and has got through enough tissues to keep Kleenex in business. Anyway, she was putting her tissues in the bin in the office until she realised that they were going missing. Given that it was only the tissues going missing and the rest of the rubbish had been left behind, it wasn\u2019t because another human had emptied the bin. It was Ari. Ari was busy trying to eat all the evidence of her being ill. As you can imagine a stomach full of tissues is not the best diet for any dog, especially used ones. Our Mistress has sat down with him and thanked him for trying to take such good care of us all, but asked him if he\u2019d mind stopping doing it before he ended up at the vet. As she can\u2019t be certain he will resist the temptation she is now putting them in a bag which she can dispose of in the main bin and which Aristotle can\u2019t get to as easily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
