Oh I\u2019m one happy Aristotle. Today is a day outside. Thankfully, our Mistress is not coughing quite so much and as it\u2019s going to be sunny has said that we can work on the clean up of the summer house. And the trips to the tip, but I\u2019m less excited about that bit. Anyway, when she\u2019s outside Alfie and I don\u2019t argue so much so it looks as though we\u2019re going to help her for a while and then maybe Wilma will help later. Shadow has selected the sunny patch on the floor of the snug and said she doesn\u2019t want to be disturbed for a while as she\u2019s sun bathing, without the need to be outdoors. I can\u2019t imagine every getting to an age where I\u2019d rather be indoors than out. I live pottering around the garden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We all had lovely walks yesterday. Our Mistress hadn\u2019t been able to take us for a couple of days so we all made up for it yesterday. By the end of walking all of us, she was ready for a bit of a sleep, but then so were we so everyone was happy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This week is a big week in our Mistress\u2019s family. Her older nephew is getting married next Saturday. Everyone is quite excited, well our Mistress is anyway. We\u2019ve had the usual \u2018I\u2019ve no idea what to wear\u2019. I do find having my own fur coat rather helps in avoiding that problem. Wilma has asked if she is invited, but there are no children going. I pointed out I was an adult in dog terms, but our Mistress said that was a matter for discussion! After telling us we\u2019d be excluded from all of that she had the nerve to say that she is expecting us all to help with the village clean up on the Sunday. Somehow I think I\u2019ll have other plans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
