Alfie is taking a few days off, so he\u2019s asked me to announce the competition winner. I\u2019m a bit nervous as to whether I\u2019ve done it all right. Mum gave me all the entries and there were an awful lot of them. Mum said there have been more entries than we\u2019ve ever had before so thanks to everyone who took part. Anyway, she showed me how to use the random number generator on the computer to pick the winner from all the correct entries and as long as my paws hit all the right buttons then the winner is\u2026 Katy Long of Didcot. I\u2019d just like to say it had nothing at all to do with her saying in her email that I was wonderful and she wants to meet me, although of course that was really nice too and I\u2019d like to meet Katy and everyone who entered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It stung a little bit but I didn\u2019t complain and was more interested in trying to see exactly what the vet was doing as I think I would quite like to do her job. She nearly didn\u2019t give me a biscuit, but I went and stood by the drawer to make sure she didn\u2019t forget. Alfie\u2019s appointment with the vet is tomorrow, so we\u2019ll see how he gets on then. Today Aristotle is going swimming and Alfie is having a day off. I can\u2019t go to watch as Shadow will go to be weighed and it\u2019s too much hassle for Mum to try taking a whole car load of us.
