I have been overwhelmed by all the get well messages I\u2019ve received. Thank you. I\u2019m a tiny bit better than I was, but still in pain if I move and crying some of the time when I don\u2019t move. I\u2019m afraid the injection the vet gave me also caused a rather bad upset stomach and I was in position to go outside when I needed to. My Mistress is being very understanding and has reassured me that I don\u2019t need to worry at all and she\u2019s happy to clean up after me. When I say \u2018happy\u2019 I\u2019m not sure that\u2019s really what she meant, but she is certainly happy to look after me. We\u2019re still sleeping downstairs, but she says the settee isn\u2019t that bad, which is great. If I\u2019m still in pain later today then I\u2019ll be having an x-ray on my neck tomorrow so we can really see what\u2019s going on. I\u2019ve talked it through with my Mistress and we think that would probably be a good idea. I\u2019m really very wobbly when I do walk about, but that\u2019s probably partly from my tablets \u2013 I think they are quite strong!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I don\u2019t feel so bad about the whole decision to move me on to \u2018senior\u2019 food. Our Mistress explained it\u2019s got things in that will help with my joints, and quite honestly from where I\u2019m lying that has to be a good idea. I think it might be time to finally accept that I shall never have the energy of a puppy again. I guess backs are a bit of a problem sometimes in our breed as they are so long. It\u2019s a bit like a very tall human I suppose. Anyway, I\u2019m going to have a long weekend so Wilma will write tomorrow\u2019s diary and I\u2019m sure she\u2019ll tell you how I am.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
