It did rather get me thinking about why we didn\u2019t have any bunting for our Fun Day last Saturday, although I don\u2019t think anyone would have enjoyed it any more than they actually did. Wilma is excited because as long as she behaves she will get to go to the human one as well and help our Mistress. The rest of us are planning a quiet day of not getting involved. Now to be fair I do fancy the idea of trying my paw at the plate smashing, but I\u2019m better at the plate licking when all\u2019s said and done. Shadow says she fancies \u2018bat the rat\u2019 but I don\u2019t know whether they are having that this year. Our Mistress is actually having a book stall, selling off spare stock at a big discount \u2013 so if you like a good book then our village is the place to be on Saturday afternoon to pick up a bargain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is a lot to happen before Saturday and I\u2019m not sure what state our Mistress is going to be in by then as she is planning to stay up all night on Thursday for the result of the European Referendum coming in. I bet she goes to bed. She\u2019s really not that good without sleep. If she does stay up then I for one will be staying out of the way on Friday as whatever the result she\u2019ll be grouchy if she\u2019s tired. Mind you, looking on the bright side, I\u2019m never happier than when we get to stay in bed during the day. I will be there right by her side, trying not to snore too loudly. I\u2019m guessing Wilma and Ari wouldn\u2019t say no to that idea either.
