It almost feels as though I\u2019ve been the one on holiday having not written my diary for over a week, but I think the rest has done me good. I\u2019m not sure about the new \u2018den\u2019 our Mistress has created for me and I think I\u2019m going to have to ask for one or two minor alterations to make it more to my liking, but it does give me a space that\u2019s mine which does have its upsides.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I\u2019m the only member of the family not on a diet at the moment, which I have to say makes me feel pretty good. Shadow has been the same weight most of her adult life, but our Mistress has said that if she\u2019s going in to the show ring it\u2019s time to try to get her waistline back. Really? After 22 puppies she thinks Shadow\u2019s going to have a waistline! Aristotle has put on a little, but our Mistress is blaming the food he is eating for that. He is eating up the sacks of \u2018adult\u2019 food that we won and it doesn\u2019t seem to be helping his trim physique. He\u2019s only got a bag and a half to go, but then he says he\u2019ll be glad to get back to what we are usually on. Then there is Wilma. Being in season is always hard for the girls. Our Mistress does cut their food down, but if she cuts it too much they complain they are hungry. She says she is going to work hers off by running round like a mad thing and to be fair that looks as though it\u2019s going to sort Aristotle out too. He can\u2019t actually keep up with her, but the rate she\u2019s going she will drop the extra kilogram in no time at all. As for the humans \u2013 well our Mistress blames the last cake she ate on Wednesday and our Master is blaming the vegetables our Mistress makes him eat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
