Today I am in charge. Oh, we\u2019ve got a human keeping an eye on us, but as our Mistress has gone to London for the day I see it as my role to take control until she returns. I have a fairly paws-off leadership style and unless called upon, which is highly unlikely, I\u2019ll be curled up quietly on the settee waiting to see what happens. Shadow and Aristotle have been arguing so I think Shadow might spend the day in her own room resting. It\u2019s not Ari\u2019s fault. Shadow is feeling a bit like a beached whale and is getting annoyed rather too easily. Of course if she sees what I\u2019ve written that may in itself be cause for irritation. She isn\u2019t being too bad with me, but if Aristotle so much as breathes in the wrong way she is coming down on him like a tonne of dog chews. He doesn\u2019t help the situation and if I\u2019m being honest I do suspect that there may be times he does it deliberately just to see how much of a reaction he can provoke. I can\u2019t blame him. I suspect on his paws I\u2019d do the same.<\/p>\n
I\u2019ve been talking to Shadow about puppy names. She let me have a look at the list that she and her Mistress have put together so far. Obviously there are way more names than they are going to need here and they haven\u2019t started sorting the list into any sort of order. I thought it would be fun to tell you what they\u2019d got and see which you like and which you don\u2019t like. What do you think?<\/p>\n

I\u2019m not really sure which are the girls and which are the boys. Some are obvious as to what they are doing on the list while others I have no idea. Perhaps we should be like one of those tv programmes where you the audience get to vote names off until we get to a more sensible length list. Which shall I suggest they get rid of first?<\/p>\n
