My Master said I suffer from OCD, that\u2019s obsessive compulsive dog if you didn\u2019t realise. I can\u2019t help being affectionate and wanting lots of cuddles. I\u2019m a very cuddly puppy. I blame our Mistress for giving me so much attention when I was very small. I\u2019d got the hang of demanding to be picked up and cuddled even at the age of three weeks old. The rest of the litter would cry if they were hungry, I\u2019d just let out an inconsolable wail when I wanted some love. I can still do the inconsolable wail thing now, but I only use it when what I really want is some love. I don\u2019t use it with menaces to demand other things.<\/p>\n
Mum has a really thick glossy coat and is being very motherly too. She is licking anyone and anything in sight. Well, anything that looks vaguely as though she should look after it. We are taking that as a good sign at the moment. At the very least it means her hormones are doing the right thing and they have to do that in order for her to sustain a pregnancy. Of course in dogs you can get false pregnancies but Mum\u2019s never had one before and it really wouldn\u2019t be a good time to start. Less than two weeks now until her scan and then if all goes well it will be action stations to get the house ready for the big day.<\/p>\n
I\u2019ve got good news on the squash plants. We have at least two successful pollinations so far and little squashes are forming nicely. Our Mistress needs to go and put a tarpaulin down so they aren\u2019t on the ground. It would be tragic now if insects got to them before we did. I don\u2019t know if I\u2019m going to like eating squash, but our Mistress says if I\u2019m good I can try some. That was wise as if she has said \u2018No\u2019 I might have just tried them anyway.<\/p>\n
