Our Mistress has fair skin and stupidly she didn\u2019t think to put sun cream on for the day on Saturday. She felt all right until the evening when you could have cooked eggs on her with little difficulty. She was still glowing like a beacon on Sunday too, which on the bright side meant there was no risk of losing her. She did do something quite unusual and put her feet up for a couple of hours in the middle of the day. It really confused us and we didn\u2019t know quite what was expected of us.<\/p>\n
After his success in the Ank?rung on Saturday Basil went on to take part in the East of England show yesterday and we are very proud to say he was awarded Best in the Import category. Well done Basil, quite a weekend for you.<\/p>\n
In the meantime I was busy falling upstairs and hurting my pride as much as anything. It\u2019s hard when your back legs give way when you\u2019re not expecting it. I think I was just in too much of a hurry to get to our Mistress rather than it being anything more major, but she\u2019s told me to take it easy for a day or two and tell me if anything is uncomfortable. It didn\u2019t help that I\u2019d been edgy all day and she wasn\u2019t in a good mood with me. Of course I still got lots of fuss and sympathy when I fell upstairs but it didn\u2019t improve my mood. I think I need a holiday, just me and my Mistress, but she\u2019s said that won\u2019t happen until at least the end of November so I have to be patient. That\u2019s a long time to wait for some real quality one on one time. I wondered if she could take me down to see my girlfriend for the weekend, but with waiting to sort out Shadow it\u2019s easier said than done. She says once she\u2019s mated Shadow she will see what is possible.<\/p>\n
