It\u2019s time for me to have another blood test and that really isn\u2019t good news. I tried telling my Mistress I feel absolutely fine, but she says that is not as accurate as actually having a test that confirms I\u2019m ok. It\u2019s not me they should be looking at. Shadow is really struggling again after falling upstairs yesterday. She\u2019s gone back to resting and only having minimal exercise. Aristotle is fed up because it means he\u2019s lost his playmate again and Shadow is fed up as our Mistress has told her she needs to cut down on her food so that she doesn\u2019t become seriously overweight.<\/p>\n<p>The other piece of bad news yesterday was my Mistress told me my breath smelt. I did that thing where you put your paw over your mouth and breath and try to smell it yourself and it smelt fine to me. Sadly it didn\u2019t stop her deciding we need to go back to cleaning my teeth every day. I\u2019m a dog. I\u2019m supposed to have bad breath. It seems, however, that we are not in agreement about that particular point. Oh, my Mistress agrees I\u2019m a dog, but not on the breath thing. Apparently in her book my breath is supposed to smell sweet, but given she keeps refusing to share her bag of mints with any of us I can\u2019t see that happening.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/alfiedog.me.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/IMG_1668-reduced.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-10048\" src=\"http:\/\/alfiedog.me.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/IMG_1668-reduced-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_1668 reduced\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/alfiesdiary.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/IMG_1668-reduced-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/alfiesdiary.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/IMG_1668-reduced.jpg 338w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a>I\u2019m really enjoying this spring weather. It means a lovely walk and it\u2019s dry under paw. I\u2019m not a great fan of mud but at the moment my favourite walk is just glorious. There are little primroses to sniff, and nibble if no one is looking and I can amble along at my own pace just enjoying the sunshine. It helps that my Mistress is still recovering from her chest infection so doesn\u2019t want to walk as quickly as normal.
