Now, don\u2019t get me wrong. I\u2019ve got nothing against small dogs in themselves. I know Alfie has a serious problems with the ones that are barely bigger than a rat, but that\u2019s not what I\u2019m talking about. It just isn\u2019t fair. People who own them sometimes let them get away with things that we larger dogs aren\u2019t able to get away with. They nip at ankles and get away with it, because they don\u2019t do any real harm. They pull on the lead, but no one bats an eye lid, because they aren\u2019t pulling their human down the road. They stay outside barking, because their bark isn\u2019t really loud enough to bother anyone. Then we go out and bark in response and we\u2019re the ones who get into trouble. Well if you ask me it isn\u2019t fair. Small dogs should be kept to the same standards that are expected of us. Either that or people should think it\u2019s cute when we nip ankles, pull on the lead or spend three hours barking. I don\u2019t mind which way round it is, but we should be held up to the same standards. You can\u2019t expect us to be treated in a stricter way than our fellow canines. For reference our Mistress says we are not allowed to sink to their standard of behaviour, so I\u2019m guessing they will have to come up to our level.<\/p>\n
After my car complaint of yesterday, my Master has gone for a driving day driving fast cars and once again I have been left out. I\u2019m starting to understand where Alfie is coming from with his calls to end discrimination towards dogs. I\u2019d look cool behind the wheel of a Lamborghini. I think when we get some pictures of my Master\u2019s day I\u2019m going to see if I can superimpose my image into the driver\u2019s seat so I can pretend it was me.<\/p>\n
